Aquacave

Walked through aquacave and crawled through a small pipe in the wall that was about 5m long, which lead to what looked like an empy reservoir that had been recently built. It was about 10m high and 50x50m in width. Does anyone have an information on what it is

not sure i've been in that bit, how far from the L-shaped grille is it?
it'll be a detention basin - in most rain events, the water will build up in there and in that big 3-box culvert section and slowly release into the drain (but where?!) rather than flood it all at once. in huge events it would just back up and flow into the mummy-shaped section like it used to.

i can feel an aqua visit coming up, has been a while!
