Hello from England

Hello everyone

Just thought I'd say a quick hello as I'm due to visit Australia in December and was hoping to get some exploring done, if anyone is about when I get there? I'm planning on visiting Adelaide for a few days, then heading to Sydney for a week and finally Brisbane for another week. I've never been to Aus before, so thought I'd attempt to find some keen people on here. One of the other guys from our group is joining me for the Sydney and Brisbane part of our trip.

Just a bit about myself then, to hopefully gain a bit of trust - that's how it works in the UK

We're a group based up in the northern parts of England, and we've been exploring for 3 years or so now. I'm the main photographer in the group and most of the photos on our site were taken by myself. I travelled to New Zealand (not sure that's going to earn me any points on here

) last year and got quite a few explores done in many cities and towns. Our content can be viewed on any of these sites if anyone fancies a look:

Welcome!

I used to live near LHR and did a couple of places there but only really got into it after coming back home. I still want to go back to the UK one day and do some exploring but only time will tell.

Can't wait to catch up and share a few stories about the UK.

Hello , glad you got on here, be nice to meet up when you come over:) thanks for all your help when I was in the uk last month, I got to the Dark Arches which was awesome. Tried very hard to get into the church, but it was super difficult, just couldn't make it which was a pity, got right up to the building but just no way could I get in... Oh well:)
Get in touch when you are over, Brisbane has some goods spots:)

No problem, glad to have helped. Yeah, the church can be touch and go. The fences and wire protecting that site are incredible, considering there's nothing much inside - other than the amazing stonework and stained glass.

I'll make sure to give you a shout when I'm over there, it would be great to meet up.

Welcome! Did you by any chance have a write up of a psychiatric asylum in New Zealand's south island a few years ago? I think I may have visited it based on one of your posts. (It appears to be used for cabin style rental accommodation now though!)
