If the batteries were alkaline, then they leak potassium hydroxide. This can cause skin/eye/mucous membrane irritation (from alkaline burns) and respiratory issues. Washing your mouth out with clean water would be best emergency thing to do, though this advice is a bit late. You'll probably be fine, but if you start to feel unwell see a doctor.Explorer_J wrote:So I was in Swoo.... I than get to the first slide.. So when I reached the first slide I had to put my torch in my mouth so that I could hold onto the ropes. After I get past the 3rd slide I start to get this metallic taste in my mouth. I unscrew the torch and it turns out the batteries had leaked and there was all this dust inside. Will I survive or will I die?
