I'm a melbournite, 25 and I've been doing urbex pretty consistently for the last few months since I got my new shiny camera. I did it previously, as in explored places, but not to the extent I currently am (clothing, masks, hat, torch; being prepared essentially). I've been around the block to the obvious places, and have done a bit of internet detective work / legwork to find some less than publicized abandos. I'm mainly about taking a good flick, but you can't capture the excitement of exploring a place completely new to you (and most probably everyone else).
