Good camera

i was thining about the cannon 600D or the nikon d1300. any other alts for a good beginer camera???
its the first i will have bought too.

Did you mean the Nikon D3100? If so, then you're better off getting the D3200. It's pretty much the best of beginners DSLRs from the research that I've done. I also own one, so there's a bit of bias there, but still...

yeah thats the one, just a typo haha. ive heard some good reviews so im thinking of picking that one up

I started off with the 600D. Amazing camera. The D3100 though will have a slightly better sensor.

One reason I bought the Sony is because all my Minolta auto focus lenses fit it.

The D3300 is Nikon's newer entry level SLR and has better high ISO performance than the D3200.

The D3200 is cheaper and has higher dynamic range. While both differences in noise control and DR are small, ISO is easier to control because tripod. Haha.
