Well this is Gonna be my first big drain

I know The Location Ive read Predators Approach Now Im Just taking Down Some Tips From People Whove Explored this drain Eg Hazards (apart from Flooding) Like Sudden Drops IDK Just so I feel better When Im going in i know what to expect ive seen photos i know there are two entrances now my friend whos coming along with me is a little baby and doesnt want to get overly drenched im assuming the manhole is the way to go cause apparently the canal entrance is tidal? Just a few pointers of the system would help ALSO i heard about a "Secret RCP" where the floor dissapears infront of you Anyone Care to Digress ?

Hi Michael,

There is a couple of deep GPTs.
Don't be tempted to swing across (there were ropes a while ago).

As long as you stay in the main tunnel, there's not too many other hazards.

Been a couple of years since I did it though, so things may have changed.

This drain has gained popularity with the kids and subsequently the grille has been padlocked. You'll need to stoop in from the canal. You will get wet, probably knee deep in that section. Look out for the GPTs (stands for Gross Pollutant Traps but they're also good at trapping gross explorers).

On my Way Down Now Guys Should Be About 2 hours till i get there i live in the city but have to stop at marrickville to pick mate up and were only on BMXs and public transport Will Post photos if i get in!

It'd crotch deep at low tide. or maybe thigh deep for taller people.

BMXs and public transport lol, I miss being young.

WWWWWWell A Big bummer today boys... And how extremely lucky i was too come during low tide and see about a 1 cm of water flowing in to the canal (odd) but to No suprise australias weather changed like a womans mood on her cycle ..... and i got the worst end of it
