Hi.

My mate says the three aforementioned abandonment (all three now redeveloped and active) were pretty great explores when he did them all those moons ago. Does anybody have pictures of these said buildings when they were abandoned? To no surprise I'm told the Powerhouse was full of water.

Anyone willing to share old pictures they have, if any and if willing to share, that would be swell.

I realise this thread is a little erm... slow! Haha. I found this picture ... this is how I remember the Barracks! My friend stuck his head in that tower on the roof, he said he was surrounded by heaps of smelly pigeons.

i missed the original post somehow, if anyone has any pics from any old sites now demolished or repurposed worth sharing, please do, would like to add them to the register. Any state, not just QLD

Caxton Barracks were an absolute crack den full of needles, paint cans and angry f*****g junkies living upstairs. Kept you on your toes.
