There's an abandoned place hosting the only intact Hoffman kiln left in Adelaide. Anyone keen to explore this large site in the inner suburbs during the coming week?

You could just go in when it's open, Fri, Sat, Sun and pub hols, - and have a really good look around.
If you went any other time, the kiln would likely be locked up.

Or is it actually abandoned?
The website is still up, as normal.

Nah, she's all over and done with afaik.

I went down to this place one afternoon. Well the outside that is, didn't see an obvious way in. That said, I thought of ways but there were cars going by and it'd look a little odd.

Anyway. I'm up for this place, Jaffs. Let me know when you're good to go (can't do Thursday) and we'll go from there. If anyone else is interested too...leave a message in this thread.

Ahhh. Used to love it here, went here all the time when it was still open as a kid. Pretty sure its another damn shopping centre now.
