Fire has smashed this area pretty hard.

It's likely it will be demolished now.

This was the best pic I could find online.
ABC 24 hour news had an aerial video (I cannot find it on the net) which showed it badly damaged.

my works not to far from a fire near the blue mountains the smoke is crap coming to work looked like a horroe movie one side of road was nice sunny day other side looked like the apocalypse was coming

Yeah I saw on the news. Looks much worse than I thought.

That's what happens when you hold off on going to these places. Because eventually it will disappear some way or another. It's also why I always insist on going to abandoned historic sites or places with a demolition proposal. Or pretty much anything where something can be accessed for a very short period.

Just happy I got there while it was still standing although I would have liked to return to take better shots. So sad to see it going now.
