So we have all found some neat locations, and taken some nice photos, I wana see everybodies single favourite photo they have taken. Here's mine, a hospital that I had been told was in-accessible due to fences, cameras, sensors & dogs, well apparently it wasn't. :D

That place has an eerie feeling to it.
Doesn't help when the wind slams random doors either, particularly when walking into the morgue section

This is my favourite pic. Cannot find the original.
It's from my set here.
Added a couple effects to make it look like an old print.
To me, it sums up the isolation and harsh conditions that would have been encountered by the young men and women stationed here in the 30's and 40's.

This is my favorite shot of all time:
Image

Background: Cargo Ship awaiting scrapping, her 2 sister ships had already been scrapped, she was the last one left when we got there. I took this around 3am, I had given up our quest to get aboard. The ship had an oil leak so she was surrounded by what I can only describe as a giant orange shopping bag on floaties to hold all the gross oily water in one place, the ladders had all been cut, we'd tried climbing up the ropes that anchored her, all had failed.

My friend (pictured) had not given up, he crouched there for a good minute, completely still, then silently took of his shirt, and just swam in the oily stagnant water, climbed onto one of the pylons holding her in place, climbed up it, then jumped until he could grab the gap in the deck where the ropes come out, heaved himself up and was on the deck. I swam out a few minutes after, dragging the gear in hard cases on a rope in my mouth, grinning ear to ear.

Technically it's not the best shot I've ever taken, but it's not about that.
It's printed out, huge, on my wall. It reminds me there's always a way, it's just a matter of how far you're willing to go, and it sums up the friend pictured perfectly.

Wow, that's actually pretty cool. Love the dedication :)

This is definitely my favourite photo that I've taken. Broke the golden rule "Never go alone" into this hospital and managed to come out a bit spooked but with some amazing shots :P
