Tomaree battery

Hey guys

I'm heading up to port Stephens next week and was going to go check out Tomaree battery once again. I've been there before but only had a quick look, does anyone know if it's possible to gain access to inside the battery ?

One of the buildings is locked up tight, but you can still get in to some of the buildings.
You would need to climb and squeeze over the welded door, easiest for thin people.

Try get some pix I ain't been there in ages.

Thanks blakjak, I didn't end up going though I was too busy spending time in the ocean and beach taking photos.. I'll go back though later this year

Hey guys,

Is that in Newcastle at King Shepherd Hill?

If so they have unfortunately welded all the doors and windows on the upper tower shut in the past months. If I see any openings in the place I'll be sure to let you know.

Tomaree is located in the port stephens region, which is about 45 minutes from Newcastle:)

Is that the other bunker at Shaol Bay? I didn't think there would be much in there but I was always curious to get in there but I didn't have tools to get in.

Well the other one at King Shepard Hill is really nice too though rather public.

yeah sure is, it's the one at Shoal Bay.. abit of a trek to get there, I haven't explored it in depth though only checked it out from the outside
still looks pretty cool
