Guy Fawkes? Minimal. A little to get to the main chamber. It's mainly 6ft.

As cool as this is I wonder if this one should be in the public eye, do spots like this become considered a terror threat?

Any crazies would have more of an effect walking through the front door than using this drain.

Good work son, I'm proud of you. When pictures are uploaded anonymously to an image host, e.g. tinypic or imgur, the original uploader has no way of removing those images.

Good luck, it's a great drain.

Planning to do this drain this week :) I've heard rumours about alarms and cameras, but from my scouting, I don't think these rumours have much merit. Will take some pics if time permits

Precisely why an elaborate back story has been developed :3
All shall be revealed in due time, my friend.

Update: There are no cameras nor alarms. That being said, entry seems to be very, very, I'm standing here typing absolutely drenched smelling like wet dog, very difficult. I crawled through a tiny pipe filled with mud and rubbish to get in, and most people wouldn't be able to fit. That being said, I think the river entrance is still possible, but you'll be going for a swim regardless. All manholes are sealed and none of the lights are functional. The manhole at the bunker-style grill room has an abundance of trees collapsed on top of it, but it looked sealed regardless.

Btw I saw your tag Decimalz ;)

f*** yeah! Nice work indeed. If you entered from the lake you're one of only two people (that I know of), apart from myself, who have done that hellish back-breaker stretch. Got any flicks?

I look forward to meeting you for a drain sometime, young gun.

I entered from the tiny hole on the right in the picture below. I eventually walked the stretch to the river so I could see the entry point, and it really is a back breaker :/ I got absolutely drenched using the hole on the right (seemed like a half meter diameter, maybe slightly larger - yes, the one that says 'Exit' above it) and I was covered in mud, but it was worth it :p

A lot of the lights have fallen down or are in the process of falling down. Here is an example:

Apart from that, I did a little light painting in the large area just before the final stretch back to the river:

I also have an image that shows the state of the bunker-style grill room (with the collapsed trees on it), which I can post if you think it's not too location-sensitive?

Definitely keen to explore with you too! If you ever get down to Canberra again, hit me up :)

Why are there lights in a drain? This is a drain right?
Wander often. Wonder always.

It is a drain, yes. I guess it was a decision that parliament made for ease of maintenance? Or perhaps they planned on using it as some kind of emergency evacuation method? No idea really, but if any drain was to have lighting, this would be the one, considering its location.

None of the images are available anymore. Was that intentional? (I'm new here)
