Here are a couple of shots of one of my visits. I was on my way back from Melbourne around March last year. The weather was fine everywhere, but then it turned miserable when I reached the Funnel. I had 200m of rope with me, but wasn't going to do it in the rain.

You can't walk along a barbed wire fence with a foot in each paddock.

I've been working at Thredbo for the last 5 winters, no I know where this is i'm very inclined to check it out.. I'm guessing the bottom entrance would just be down the hill not too far??

I don't think that's the Funnel. Looks too small. There are plenty of those kind of spillways around the world.

It's Monticello Dam in California.
