Not something I've looked into too deeply myself. I know some malware can play with drivers which is where this functionality should sit, and then again passthrough to a VM probably invalidates most protections anyway.

Sounds like an exciting day. I, on the otherhand, have another 8 hours to procrastinate before I actually need to start packing. I've got 24 hours to put my entire life inside 2 bags :P

Well, nowhere near as fun as playing with malware, but I need to reinstall my Windows because I can't be bothered finding out all the small issues. But first I need a fairly big hard drive to back s*** up.

I've learnt not to keep critical files on an OS partition, so I can reformat worry free.
Though my current secondary disk for my work machine is audibly clicking, the worry is just moved somewhere else.

If I have to keep it on the same partition, I tend to have all my files in one folder on the desktop. Easy to access and simple to backup.

Most of my files are either on the cloud or on a NAS so reformatting is pretty easy. Although I haven't had to reformat my Windows since I got Windows 8 (probably about two years ago now).

Well if all your files are elsewhere, your MFT would be clean as f***. Haha.

I was in there once when a car pulled up right out the front and an older gent got out and walked up to the gate. We pooed our pants briefly, thinking he was security, and then watched as he emptied out can after can of the cheapest, nastiest cat food. It stank so bad, we could smell it from where we were lurking in the dark. The swarm of cats didn't seem to mind though.

What did you eat for dinner? Maybe you smelt like the old geeze and kitteh though he was in luck.

When I get home, time to see what I can sell... Broke is a complete understatement of my financial status.

Soo.... does anyone want to buy a new Wacom tablet off me? Or Canon kit lens? Or a K-mount Sigma lens? :D What about a Sony FE 28-70 (a week old)?

That sucks, what model Wacom? I know someone who's been looking... plus I could always use one.

I'm sure it will be ok, he seemed pretty genuine. We took our time exiting the manhole, so I will admit it was sloppy by us, but mistakes are made to be learnt from I suppose :)

now, to catch my flight to Brisbane with drain feet!

Lol there was security at the Swoo manhole?

Last time I was at Swoo there was an old couple who walked past who gave us really weird looks but didn't otherwise seem to care too much!

Yeah he wandered over and was curious more than anything. Told us he used to be a powerlifter back in the day.

Also Swoo was an excellent way to pop my drain cherry. Everyone was super good about me being completely new to it, which made it so much easier, so thank you! 10/10 do reccomend!

Great way to start a Sunday morning #24:
Copping a fine from Yarra Trams, $75
Number of stops I missed because of the issuing of said fine, 2 stops
Number of days I'll have to skip paying for fares to make up for the fine, 12.5 days

i have 325 $ worth of fines
2 100$ fines didnt pay them one comes back 100$ and warning
other comes back 225$

Why ?
for riding my push bike along the platform and having my feet on the seats (which i do not recall happening but they were the worst of police),

i was just coming home from school! some police are extremely arrogant and take no consideration of people wether there going through a hard time or not, living in poverty or just trying to get home after a rough day
