There's tons of websites and forums about anything...anything you've thought of, somebody else has already thought about it before you and has set up a group. You could be into knitting socks while eating pizza and you'll find a forum somewhere about it. Try Google, it's tops.
I'm currently active in a few motorcycle, urbex, and torch forums, amongst others.
