Hi, I am new to the forum.

I am an urban geography student, so am constantly chasing down interesting urban spaces. Currently I'm interested in graffiti and street art.

Cheers

I'm in Sydney, and am currently doing a project in Glebe. I'm looking to capture as much graffiti in Glebe as possible. Any advice, or interest in getting involved would be great.

Advice: Do Glebe tram house. The graff in there is some of the best I've seen. Moreover it's getting cleaned up/locked tighter soon so get onto that as fast as possible. Dunlop upper roof area has some good stuff too and that's only 3 or 4km away from Glebe. Easier access too.

Dunlop has been locked up & is re-used as car storage.

Yeah but one person with a camera could easily do it

I disagree with that, unless it has changed within the last month.
Yes there are cars in there now but you can get in anyway.

Probably better not to risk it unless you're really familiar with it. Might be mistaken for a thief.

In fact last time I went there were three serious graffers who were not conspicuous in the slightest and managed to pull it off. It's easy to escape if caught anyway...also it's gonna be gone soon </3

I didn't say it was Fort Knox. I meant it is more secure than it used to be, & getting in is harder than it was not too long ago when you could just stroll on in.
And exploring an abandoned building is one thing, but getting caught in or even exiting an active site which contains expensive private property constitutes break n enter. And frankly, Dunlop just isn't worth the risk.

+1
You can't walk along a barbed wire fence with a foot in each paddock.

On that note. If one is going to go ave a look, be wary that it is also monitored by the warehouse that looks onto it.

But probably not worth it anyway.
