Any tour guides for Glebe?

Gday,

I'm documenting graffiti and street art in glebe. Currently it's been a bit limited, but I'm keen to hit up some tunnels, drains, and anything else. Is anyone interested in showing me or suggesting a few spots?

Cheers

Get on a pushy and go for a ride for a few hours. Look in every alley, nook, crack and anything fenced that you see. I 100% guarantee that you will find cool s***.

Just go to one of the poorer suburbs around your area and you'll find sh*t sprayed everywhere.

If you can't find graffiti in the Glebe area, you must be blind.

There's a canal in that area, you should check it out.

Yeah I was gonna say is this guy trolling or what.
Plus, AFAIK this is an urbex group, not a graffiti group. The 2 are not really that compatible.

Cheers,

Yeah, I should probably clarify, I am looking to document all the graffiti in Glebe not just find a few pieces, and I have already covered most of the streets. So, now I am looking to go where civilians don't, and you guys do, which is why I'm here asking. I'm not in to doing graffiti (god knows I could barely draw a stick man) but I am interested in what types of graffiti get done in what type of locations (ie. hidden spaces) and what can be learn't from it.

Try the canals that run through Glebe, check the BOM website first though, we don't want you drowning. Johnson canal, near where Harold Park used to be has a graff gallery. It goes all the way to Stanmore Maccas, & then becomes Loaf Drain.

Ahh yep, I know the one. I hit up a small section of it yesterday before trying to get into the old tram yard, such a shame...

I was thinking of heading down the light rail tunnel one evening, any thoughts?

You will have to do it very late at night as the tram drivers will see you & stop. And there are cameras at both ends. There's no graff in there that I have seen.

So does St James. Torches still come in handy for those dark sections.
