UE sites as construction thoroughfare

Hey all :)

Just out of curiosity, if I'm exploring an abandoned site, but it is being used for trucks etc to get through to a construction site behind it, do they have the right to kick me out?

I had a close call but then I was told that as it isn't their land they probably wouldn't care?

Yeah I can't think of any tradey I know who's going to give a s*** what goes on next door (as long as it's not arson etc. of course). I really doubt they'd care at all.

More often than not most of these sites are actually owned by someone so they are in theory private land which means you are trespassing. There is a thread floating around on one of the boards in regards to trespassing laws and what not, so have a squizz into that. At the end of it all, 99% of the time just be confident, don't be a d*** and no one really cares or will bother you.

Also visibly carrying a camera helps. Most people assume you have a legit reason for doing something if you're shooting it.

Damn, I just use my iPhone 4S camera bevause it's better than my other cameras lol! Although I might just chuck em in the car anyways just to have there.. (tbh, not much of a photographer, as long as the pic isn't blurry and have half a finger covering the lense I'm happy  :D )

Much appreciate the replies, and I'll hunt out that thread, thanks hawk ^.^

Fluro jackets.

I used to wear them all the time when doing live sites etc. No one questions you if you're in reflective clothing, possibly with a clipboard & looking grumpy.

The thinking would be why would you be doing something wrong in high vis gear? I would also consider a hard hat but can't be arsed carrying it around.
