U4GM Where to Go to Open Up Stragglers Grove Fast

Hit Wuling for the first time and it's easy to get sidetracked. The shoreline looks open, the docks make it seem like you can roam anywhere, and then the bamboo barriers start shutting you down. That's usually the point where people look up shortcuts or even browse Arknights endfield accounts, thinking they've missed some faster route. You haven't. Stragglers Grove is meant to open through a side quest chain, and once you know where it starts, the whole thing feels a lot less annoying. The key is waiting for a Baker message from Mi Fu. If it hasn't shown up yet, don't overthink it. You just need a bit more main story progress before the game hands it over.



How the quest chain actually begins
Once Mi Fu's message lands, you'll unlock Silent Grove: The Beginning. This part is pretty direct, which is nice for once. You go find Watchguard Li Zhui, then head to Qingbo Stockade and speak with Qingwu. After that, the quest asks you to collect scrap and repair a broken raft. Sounds like filler at first, sure, but it matters more than it seems. The raft is what turns those blocked water lanes into real travel paths. A lot of players waste time trying to brute-force their way through the grove on foot. Don't. The quest is basically teaching you how the zone wants to be explored, and once the raft is working, the map starts making a lot more sense.



Using the waterways without getting lost
After the raft is fixed, the pace picks up. You'll start hopping between ferry points, and Burdensnout Hill is one of the first places that tends to pull you in. On the way, you'll run into a hydrocube puzzle and a core interaction. Nothing too wild, but it's easy to sprint past something important if you're in a hurry. Best move is to follow the markers and tap every obvious device you see. Wuling's a lot smoother once those ferry routes are active. Before that, it feels like the game is wasting your time. After that, it feels like you've finally been handed the real map instead of the tourist version.



The Zhailing Islet roadblock
Silent Grove: Zhailing Islet is where a lot of people stall out. More bamboo, more dead ends, same old story. The trick is the stone animal statue nearby. Use that as your reference. Face the statue, turn right, and light the two nearest lanterns. Then face the statue again, turn left, and light the lanterns on that side. That clears up one of the more awkward barriers in the area. There's also a bridge terminal that needs water, which catches people off guard. Bring empty bottles from your base before heading out. You can fill them at any water source through the quick action wheel, the same one tied to photo mode. It's one of those little systems the game barely explains, then expects you to remember later.



Opening the whole grove
The last step, Silent Grove: South Hill, is much shorter than you'd expect. Take the raft over, locate the missing Tianshi, and repair Core S3. That's basically it, aside from a short epilogue scene. Once that wraps, Stragglers Grove opens properly and the bamboo walls stop dictating where you can go. It's a much better payoff than trying to skip ahead, and honestly, if you were tempted by Arknights endfield accounts for sale, this is the point where you'll realise the zone was never locked behind a grind, just behind a quest line the game doesn't explain very well.
