Hi gang! I'm Donald (not my real name) I'm 27, living in Melb. First time joining a forum of this type. I've had a lifetime of curiosity about urbex and have done a bit of solo exploring, mainly rooftops and abandoned spots. I'd love to do drains but I have a bit of anxiety with closed spaces and also the movie IT freaks me the f**k out so I don't think I could do it solo or with anyone for that matter. I'm more inclined to explore rooftops, it's like I can feel everything, my chest throbs at the sights and sounds. I have been yearning to do more but haven't had the time and honestly a bit anxious as it's been a while. I'm not interested in graff, I have 0 art skills anyway but I would like to find somewhere I can take a deep breath and write some poetry.
If you have any general tips for getting back into it, what to bring, what not to bring, any potential locations you feel comfortable sharing. I guess I'm totally new in a sense, I wasn't brought into it by anyone I just kinda explored at my own will so I'm not sure I have the entire "street-smarts" of it down pat. Anything is greatly appreciated, thanks for reading! :P
