Does anyone know anything about this drain? Ive seen it in a Melbourne drainage dataset and a few maps but haven't heard anything about it. There seems to be bog all info about it online too.
That's Nexus, Seanile and Sovereign did an explore about 6 months ago, apparently there's a pumping station not far up it so it's not entirely interesting unless you love infrastructure!
Docklands drain is a boat trip in off the yarra. Almost no airspace at certain times of year on a high tide. Not a lot to see, rectangular concrete and a lot of mud upstream. Fun if you like boating. Last time i went past the outlet was within a construction site.
Nexus was officially removed from the Cave Clan list because it has been flooded for years and impassable.

It's definitely not flooded permanently. An explorer with not much of a sense of cleanliness would have to wait for the water to drop when the pumping station is not active. I've seen some nice photos from inside it when the water levels are manageable (whenever that is). Otherwise its a s***, low, short drain with a high chance of death.
Not sure which one is the Dockland's drain otherwise? The Dynon Road Tidal Canal? Old Moonee Ponds Creek entrance? Dynon Road was muddy as all hell apparently.
