I live near the bigjigal reserve that goes from castlehill to northmead, and recently found a completely fresh untouched drain that had an outfall at one of the off shoots of excelsior creek. I wont say which one because im going back tomorrow with paint to tag it up but it wasnt a bad drain. I found a 4 way intersection about 200-300 metres in, 2 of them were quite small and i didnt want to risk it because i was on my own, but the pipes were 5 ft until then. I would love to explore it and other drains along that creek more, wondering if anyone knows of any outfalls along there? If not, you're welcome to go there and try and find some, with all the offshoots and creeks there's probably at least a dozen outfalls big enough to go in.
