Would appreciate an introduction to the practice of urban exploration, am mildly confused as to how a new member could be introduced if we can't organise meetups or post locations as I read the rules before posting (this is not a criticism of your policy at all, earnest confusion and genuine desire to get involved). Would greatly appreciate whatever advice it's within the rules to give me :)

Welcome! The easiest way would be to check your local QLD forums and see if anyone is organising an explore.
Subscribe to my journal to see random exploration photos.
Where are the cat emoticons?

Thanks! Is there a QLD specific forum you know of or should I go to Google?

welcome, midget means here:
viewforum.php?f=23

you can organise meetups in there, going by the title of your thread you haven't done a whole lot yet - clean slate! What sort of things are you interested in at this point - drains, abandonments, drains, tunnels, drains or drains, for example?

the drains in brisbane are pretty good, as are the drains, and not to mention, the drains

i like drains

Haha, any and all but yes drains would definitely be included. I'm mostly keen on just exploring, used to do it back in my home town and now I've come to the city I want to see everything. I just that after the /forums/?
