Creating photo effects etc
For a couple years now I have been using Adobe lightroom, mainly out of intimidating photoshop features (ie-difficulty) And you know, just playing around with the basics; contrasts, blacks, saturations, colour balances but have recently been looking into Photoshop tutorials on how to create effects in photoshop. Just playing around now and thought I would share the following page;

I am hoping in future to use photoshop a lot more (more control over editing and all that) to get solid results, Lightroom is so user friendly and easy but of course perhaps a little restricting in what you can do unless you get extremely technical with it.

Lightroom is getting better and better, ie: for bulk changes and effects to numerous shots. I personally prefer photoshop for professional work. Each shot needs individual work, not across the board general settings.
EDIT: Oh, it's the vintage effect thing... I just clicked on the first link and read the rest of the thread while it was loading. =(
