Fresh from Melbourne's East

Hello :~)

I'm a 22 year old gal who's very interested in exploring abando's & such with heaps of history.
Keen on doing the old Box Hill brickworks properly soon, as I haven't been in there since I was about 15, as well as La Rundel in Bundoora. Heard some things that the top floors of the brickworks are now blocked off. This may be a touchy question but is it possible to get around this somehow?

If anyone has any good suggestions on places to explore around Melbourne, particularly the East as a start, that would be rad and much appreciated :---)
Looking forward to sharing experiences with you.

Welcome!

I'm not from Melbourne so can't help regarding your question. Although there is one easy way to find out!

Welcome!
Last time I checked the top floors of the brickworks were still accessible, although that must've been 4 months or so ago now so don't quote me on that. Larundel is basically a housing estate, not sure how much is actually worth going to anymore, heard there is one building.
It's 5:45am and my mind is kinda half asleep. Do you do drains or just abandonments?
Cheers, Echo.
Wander often. Wonder always.

Thanks guys :-)

Yeah right, I'll have a look soon and suss it and let you know. I read your post Echo (I think it was you?) about climbing to get up the levels but I'm not sure how capable I am of doing that but I'll give it a shot! haha
Ooo okay damn. I've always wanted to go there so I will suss it when I'm on holidays.
Just abando's for now :~) drains freak me out!
