Theres some pretty smooth easy going drains in marrickville if your free, about 4-5 good drains very close by to each other fairly accessible as wellphytrix wrote:Going to be heading up to Sydney on Friday (22nd) for a newbies. Was talking to DFEX about checking out some of the bigger/better drains (Swoo, Fortress, Eternity, etc.) so you're welcome to come along to those on the Saturday I actually have checked out a couple over in Marrickville, but the ones close to the railway line weren't anything amazing. From what I recall, they were quite low as wellMacDaddy wrote:Theres some pretty smooth easy going drains in marrickville if your free, about 4-5 good drains very close by to each other fairly accessible as wellphytrix wrote:Going to be heading up to Sydney on Friday (22nd) for a newbies. Yeah pretty simple at low tide. Most of the water was held back by rubbish in the channel last time I was thereMacDaddy wrote: ive spotted out eternity only problem with that one is tidal although low tide i recall is extremely low now and water barely flows into the drain during that small portion of time always wanted to go to the big name drains !
This was me wading through the canal at low-ish tide to access the entry portals...DFEX wrote:Yeah pretty simple at low tide.
