Lightroom 6 released

For the photographers here, Adobe Lightroom 6 has just been released. It is available in both Creative Cloud (Lightroom CC) and Perpetual License (Lightroom 6) versions. Users with Lightroom 5 can upgrade at a lower price, though as usual Adobe try to hide the "upgrade" option.

Being an Apple Aperture orphan, I've just installed Lightroom 6 - will see how it goes!

It seems like a lot of the changes revolve around performance optimisation (faster = better!), which I suppose is always nice. There are a couple of other features outlined in the article that a lot of us can probably utilise.

has a merge to hdr function which will surely result in more clown-vomit pics - actually i'd probably use it
and panorama too, and some extra flexibility of filters
someone get me a working dodge copy already
