Hey Nuggs, pretty neat that you could organise that.

I wouldn't mind tagging along if there's a free spot; I should be able to duck out of work for an hour or two. It's hard for me to be a definite yes though since something could come up at work - do you need to know numbers? I can bring my own hardhat and hi-vis if it makes a difference...

I set a max of 10, and the response suggests we may be at that already. Will discuss raising the max with the tour managers.

If more people turn out than the maximum allows, I will give preference to those who first responded, either in this thread, or by PM to me (I will post an official list shortly, which will stay attached to the opening post).

Certainly, bringing your own PPE may be beneficial. By all means, please do so.

That would be cool. I have some photos of when it was still under construction, but never actually got in. Construction was going on all the time.

Not sure how strict the officials conducting the tour will be but given the nature of the cage I'd guess that "technically" it would be against regulations to allow tour members to climb down into the cage.

Also for anyone that will be taking photography inside the bridges - if you do insist on posting such photos on an external website (flickr, blog etc) that is viewable by the public then I'd highly recommend that you specify that such photos were taken legitimately on an authorised tour. If someone was to view said photos and assume that they were taken by unauthorised means, there is the potential that this could bring unwanted/negative attention to the location and compromise it's future security.

Sweet, cya then! Out of curiosity how did it go with the number limit? Because drop_bear hasn't logged on since he signed up to UEGA, so I'd assume he's probably forgotten or something.
