After long though and preparation we have decided to reveal and finally start the competition. This competition is for Australian members but world wide members are also welcome to participate if they like just for fun.
What this competition is all about:
The main idea behind this competition is to get everyone involved and busy urban exploring while sharing it with the rest of the group. The person who will explore the most and interesting places will be the winner. 2nd and 3rd places will also be rewarded.
What you need to do:
- Explore a place in your state or anywhere in Australia and simply post it up. As person who will manage to post up as many interesting places as possible will have greater chances of winning.
- A minimum of 4 x pictures per place will need to be posted to make your entry valid.
- The places will need to be current and existing.
- A correct template for competition thread is posted in Aus Urban Exploring, as thats where you will need to post in order to submit your place into the competition.
- One thread per explored place is allowed, please don't dump multiple exploring locations into one thread.
- To register your thread into competition simply post a link from it in THIS thread.
Who and how it will be judged? :
- No entries will be accepted after 29/4/2012.
- An admin will then create a voting poll and other UEGA members will vote for who ever had the most places posted and interesting ones at that.
What do you get if you win:
1st place

2nd place
- 9 x LED alloy black torch.
- Face dust mask.
- 2 x 30cm wide UEGA stickers.
3rd place
- 1 x purple light LED keyring torch.
- 2 x standard UEGA stickers.
What will get you disqualified:
- Posting places which were not visited by you. (Don't forget, internet is not that hard to navigate these days). One entry which is fake is all that is needed to remove you from the competition.
- Posting places/things un-related to urban exploration or abandoned places/things.
What we do not encourage you do for this competition:
- Do not go exploring alone as it may be dangerous.
- Do not go into un-safe rated places as we want you back in here safe and in one piece.
