Media handling tactic

Now and then we get media people who wan t to do a story. I've made a point of PM'ing a few, and on each occasion I've said something like:
"Send me your Facebook contact and I'll contact you via there." Not a single one has done so. It says a lot really, not willing to trust us with their real name, but wanting our secrets. Hmmm.
I suggest asking media for their real name and Facebook page become a bit of an unoffical policy.
"Oh! That's YOUR web site!" ... "Yep, that one." http://www.uer.ca/urbanadventure/www.ur ... windex.htm
And read the damn Newbies FAQ and guide to writing a first post! viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4257&p=40693

I've been contacted quite a few times through here and my blog. All of them used their real name and affiliation, and they were all very professional.

Of course, all of them received no interview. Buuuttt, you never know if you don't ask!

Our UEGA fb like page gets a few requests here and then. All get turned away every time with strict no media policy.
