Should just say firstly I've never previously done urban exploring and made an account on this forum for this post.
Anyway I've noticed a possibly interesting location in Eden Hills and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it.
Here is the google maps of the location:

I've also drawn some circles highlighting relevant locations:

From what I understand there used to be a trail tunnel (1) that ran through the hill the Gloucester Ave dirt trail runs across (3), which was replaced by a different train tunnel (2). Where I believe the closed up train tunnel entrance (1) is, is based on having walked by there coming down from Gloucester Ave.
It's a very easily accessible area that many walkers frequent.

While the entrance to the tunnel has been closed off, I noticed the top of the closing has been pulled at and broken. This can be accessed because there is a flat grassy area directly above the entrance. I haven't been there in maybe a month, but it definitely looks like an area of interest.

Does anyone know what I am talking about? has anyone gotten in the tunnel?

Thanks.

The ol 'mushroom tunnels' it's privately owned by the tunnel wine storage and once around the razor wire fences you normally get chased away lol the first tunnel (shorter tunnel) is secured and called 'australias most secure wine storage' the second longer tunnel was accessible, wouldn't recommend it now as the owner has stepped up security there too. The hole in the Southern end wall takes you into a closed up area. Not sure if I'd bother there anymore. The new twin tunnel is as exciting and easier lol also the old twin 60's drains near by also are interesting since the roadworks
Cheers
never die wondering ;)
