Some iPhone pics of a man cave I visited. Old mate was an electronics guy back in the day, and had been moved to a retirement village. I was asked to remove all the equipment.

All of it got dumped, to my knowledge. They were selling the house, and most of the equipment was either non-compliant / damaged, or too old to be practical

Damn! Such a shame. I picked up a collection of radio hobbyist mags from the 50s yesterday with schematics etc. for a lot of old gear like that, particularly the tone generators and receivers. A lot of stuff like that can be refurbished or retrofitted with modern components; I'd have gladly carted it all home for my own amusement :P
