So I've been wanting to go exploring in the train tunnels beneath Sydney for some time now but I've been wondering how to avoid getting hit by trains. I've seen people go there after the last train of the night but if anyone has a way of not getting hit or a tunnel that may be wider please let me know

Also any information on the st James ghost platform or central platforms 26 and 27 would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

when you enter train tunnels there is always an inherent risk of getting hit by a train - regardless of going after timetabled services finish. also, the width of the tunnel is not really relevant lol.

also, st james ghost platforms lies behind locked top to bottom gates and has new (as of the past two years) working heat-monitored cameras.

if you're really determined: do your own research, realise that most of what you find is probably outdated & don't attempt something if you don't know the ins and outs of it.
