I'm tempted to go up this Sunday just so everyone is aware. Have a look at a few more things I found on nearmap.

But I do want to make an early start of it.

Usually I would ditch my plans and make it up there on Sunday, but I have something in 2 weeks as well as another thing next month, so I probably shouldn't waste all my food money :3

I do admit it is a long way up to where Sini is... Even if I go I won't stay long due to evening commitments.

If you and sini are keen, I'd really like to head up to Newy on that Saturday 9th may? I can pay fuel and all that crap if you're wanting to come, else I'm sure there are bus/train options for me :3

I just sent Sini a PM with some contact details and itinerary.

Just another thing to those I contacted today but did not reply. If you can't make this but are interested to join me on possible future explores to newy, central coast etc, please say so otherwise I will assume you no longer need me on any future trips and I will stop bugging you. Downside is you will no longer get any advanced notifications :).

Not sure if I can make the canberra trip as I might have plans on one of the days. Otherwise I am interested in future ones :)

Ah well, maybe go storm chasing and take photos. Though if I don't explore, it'll give me time to finish off my recent photos.

Topsides are nice in the rain, weird light for pix, less prying eyes, and seccers/cops are less inclined to get out of their nice warm and dry cars.

Just DON'T go in drains.

I am in the St George area :D
The over cast weather last week up in Newcastle was great for exploring as there were less people out on the roads

That drain with the new GPT is ok but very short (100m?).
And there's tons of abandoned stuff around there, although some of it is being reused.

Pretty easy to get to mittagong by train.

So you can pretty much get there yourself quite easily without a lift...

Visited today unfortunately due to the rain I thought it be safer to not go into the drain although the abandonment was still cool! Pix up soon
