Congrats. :D I'm hoping to get into a different field closer to my hobbies now. Automotive writing or photography. Though will eventually end up back at uni anyways.

I'm looking into a few things as I don't imagine progressing much here after 7 years.
Either starting up my own IT biz or getting into professional level video/3D graphics work.

I'm at that point where I think I've maxed out my progression at my workplace hahahaha. To go further up will require a whole new set of skills.

Should probably do something about that. But not yet.

Other TV shows I've binged on:
-Burn Notice (great)
-Dexter (started ok, got boring, few seasons too long)

Wow, just saw the news. So much sad news lately.
When I have a massive disagreement with some one I'll yell at them, say a few nasty things and then apolagise in a few days or just forget about it.
Terrorism sucks big time. I feel like saying to these idiots, sort your differences out in the boxing ring. It takes a real coward to shoot unarmed people, or to mow down a bunch of celebrating people in a massive truck. :(

Met my old manager last week outside reception at my work (talk about deja vu!). What's more the guy still recognises me after all these years!

Asked if I was interested in joining him at his new workplace and getting back to doing consulting work.

Unfortunately for me I'm now too used to doing support work and it's hard breaking the "cycle" after doing the same thing for what appears to be my whole life. But I've still kept the card on the fridge.

Just in case I do finally get sick of doing support work and getting my weekends back.

The good thing about consulting work is that you usually get to travel/visit a lot of new places!

Tell me about it! I stayed in Wellington for a couple of months until the client found out my company had snuck in a graduate (aka Me) instead of someone more "senior". Talk about getting chucked in with the hyenas!

But the guy shadowing me was quite good and was also from England. Sadly I lost contact with him when he left.

I think that was about the only work-related travel I had - not counting my self-funded UK working holiday that led to the UK work permit.

Stumbled on this for inspiration while working on some stuff the last couple of months.

Back in Westwood days before they got bought by EA when C+C Red Alert had decent storyline and production values right up to the preview game trailer. Even though the game engine was not very advanced.

Can't believe someone had recorded this.
